Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the CocoDrilo mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. The App is operated by Ithaca Software LLC ("we," "our," or "us").
Use of the App
CocoDrilo is a Spanish language learning application that uses structured lessons and spaced repetition to help you build and retain vocabulary and grammar. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems
- Use automated means to access or interact with the App
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, audio, and software — are owned by Ithaca Software LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content within the App without our prior written consent.
Subscriptions and Purchases
CocoDrilo may offer in-app purchases or subscriptions. All purchases are processed and managed entirely through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Subscription management — including renewals, cancellations, and refunds — is handled through your Apple ID account settings. We do not process payments or maintain billing information.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding language learning outcomes.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ithaca Software LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
