Spaced repetition is a learning technique where vocabulary and grammar cards are shown to you at increasing intervals over time. Items you find easy appear less frequently, while ones you struggle with show up more often. This scientifically-proven method helps move knowledge from short-term to long-term memory efficiently.
Is my learning data backed up?
Yes — your learning progress syncs automatically through your iCloud account using CloudKit. Your data is private to you and isn't accessible to anyone else, including us. Sign in on a new device with the same Apple ID and you'll pick up right where you left off.
I'm not receiving notifications for daily reviews
Check that notifications are enabled for CocoDrilo: go to Settings > Notifications > CocoDrilo and make sure Allow Notifications is turned on. Also confirm that Focus mode or Do Not Disturb isn't blocking alerts.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open CocoDrilo, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases." Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. All subscriptions and purchases are managed entirely through Apple. If the issue persists, please contact us.
How do I request a refund?
All purchases are processed through Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the CocoDrilo purchase, and follow the steps to request a refund.
How do I delete my data?
There isn't an in-app delete option yet — it's something we're working on for a future update. Your CocoDrilo data is stored in your private iCloud container, so it's only accessible to you (not to us or anyone else). If you need help in the meantime, please email us.
Device compatibility
CocoDrilo requires iOS 18.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone and iPad. The app is optimized for iPhone but runs on iPad as well.
